Project #6 Watching eye HAL

Sixth week (and posting the project almost a fortnight late due to shoveling snows taking all of my energy), more of the viewer's humor is requested in the case of the Watching eye. Yes, it is only a plastic bottle cap, that has been run over by a car, but do you see the same as I do?

Watching eye - with a twist, that for superstitious people, you can see in the closeup that the plastic actually has number 13 embossed to the inside. I walked over this squashed item, and immediately thought of 2001-A Space Odyssey's HAL, who sees everything (I know it was a spherical, red eye that HAL had and this is a bit far away from anything scientific, but go figure how your memory works). Anyways, now this discarded cap has a new status and is available for $50 to brighten up your dresser or night stand. Approx 4x4x5". Click image for a slideshow link and contact Veera if interested.

Project #5 'When truly needed'.

Fifth week and 5th project post for 2014, a panic button in empty chocolate packaging, framed with recycling station -found picture frame from 1960's. For especially us ladies, 'When truly needed' reminds that we would need to find the panic button every now and then...or am I that different?http://www.veerapfaffli.com/craftwingit/2014/2/2/project-5-when-truly-neededI enjoy the idea of placing plastic from the recycling bin to fine art item so much, that I had to push it again. To be used as statement piece on the wall, or simply jewelry tray in the loo; available for $50, contact Veera if interested.
