Project #15 is Undressing light sculpture

A veiled, lemon yellow pillar of fabric in the day, this trash sculpture turns into seducing female figure when lit up. Made out of plastic spool for electric cable, aluminum sticks from old gazebo and wire netting, light bulb and old piece of fabric that was actually covering tables in a wedding 1998... This nostalgic piece is around 7 ft tall and can be yours for $100.

The fabric can be washed (and changed) as the hood comes out for changing the light bulb when needed. Contact Veera if you are intrested!

Project #14 is 25 egg paintings in April

Getting ready for spring, I got an idea of different kind of egg paintings, eggs in surreal environment, eggs that do not exist, eggs that simply bring good moments to the viewer. I absolutely adore birds, and eggs are not only in cycle with them, but symbolize birth, growth and the future. Series of 25 egg paintings will be shown in a cafe of Harjun Oppimiskeskus (Harju Agricultural Learning Center) in Virolahti, Finland during this summer, starting during birdwathcer Arktika-days in May. Egghibition will also be shown at PJ Factory in Williamsport, PA throughout the summer 2014.

Project of the week 13 is a Queen Bee sculpture

Queen Bee sculpture is a collage of microwave plate holder ring, grinder head that was dug out from trash, foud bees nest, and shredded cardboard box used for packing material. The bee itself is made out of copper string, beads and soda can holder plastic. (Click image for a slideshow)
